I moved to Portugal when I was 7. My parents still live there.
I've lived in many countries and Portugal is head and shoulders above anywhere else I could consider home.
Like many who grow up in beautiful places, I didn't fully appreciate just how special Portugal was until I left for college.
It was during my first summer break, when I showed a Stanford buddy around town for the first time, that I really saw it anew hrough their eyes: amazed by the history and vibrance of Lisbon, the charm of Cascais, and the serenity of Quinta da Marinha.
Since childhood, I’ve shared my love for Portugal with friends from my communities across New York, the Bay Area, and beyond.
I love my country and my home. Introducing people to its hidden corners, local treasures, and authentic experiences brings me genuine happiness and pride.
It’s also bloody natural — it’s all the stuff I do when I go home for the summer anyways.
This summer, Evan and I are putting together the kind of experience that I hope makes you grow to share my love for home.
We’re centering it around padel—a sport that has become a meaningful part of both of our lives, bringing incredible friendships and memories.
We’ll sprinkle in some history, great food, nights out, and sightseeing — but don’t worry, only the good stuff, curated by locals.
Seriously can't wait for you to join us in discovering the magic of Portugal.
Christian and Evan met playing padel, the way to start a partnership.
Evan grew up playing competitive tennis in DC before walking onto the Harvard squash team. Professionally, Evan spent 5 years at Palantir before moving to Aspen and, upon wanting to play padel and not seeing any courts, starting the Aspen Padel Club.
Christian grew up in Portugal, right in the heart of Cascais and Quinta da Marinha. A competitive rugby player, Christian played on the Stanford team before working in tech in NYC.
